Joshua Burda was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Neurobiology at the University of California, Los Angeles. In the lab of Dr. Michael Sofroniew, Joshua focused on investigating biochemical and cellular mechanisms that regulate spontaneous recovery after spinal cord injury. Joshua received his Ph.D. in Molecular Neuroscience from the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and his B.S. in Human Physiology from Michigan State University. Currently, Dr. Burda is an Assistant Professor in the Center for Neural Science and Medicine at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
